Ultimate Candy Bars

The perfect combination of salt, sweetness, crunch, and chew in our favorite (and versatile!) candy bar. This one is also naturally sweetened so you don’t get the “sweater teeth” effect after you eat one (or three). Be sure to check out the substitutions and variations to add your creativity and make them your own.

Sprouted Buckwheat Boule

With this recipe, you’ll practice sprouting buckwheat and hand shaping a bread “boule” (which is a French word for “ball”). This is one of our favorite breads because of its rustic texture and flavor—it makes the best toast with butter and jam.

Dark Sandwich Loaf

An unusual and delicious dark loaf flavored with cacao. Serve it toasted with butter, cream cheese, peanut butter and a drizzle of honey, or when you want to add the flavor of a dark bread to a sandwich or hors d’oeuvres.

Garlic & Rosemary Focaccia

This is an enriched dough, which in simple terms means that it has oil, and other ingredients in it that make the rise slower. The wait is worth it though, as this bread is full of flavor and makes delicious toast and sandwiches (try some in a panini press, too).

Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cookie

If pie, skillet bread, and everyone’s favorite cookie had a baby, this recipe would be the best of all of them. Serve à la mode with homemade vanilla ice cream, hand others at the table a spoon and gogogo!

Pumpkin Spice Blend

Use for baked goods and lattes, sure, but try this autumnal spice blend in stews, too!

Ginger Miso Dressing

This dressing pairs nicely with the crunchy snap of peas, fresh radish, red onion, cabbage, and/or tender mixed greens—the pink and green combination is lovely. This dressing also make a tasty crudité dip and scrumptious “sauce” for a rice bowl filled with roasted veggies and hearty greens like kale.

Sunshine Citrus & Turmeric Dressing

Great for a salad, and also for non-salad dishes, too! Use as a marinade, or sauté roasted veggies and drizzle with this vinaigrette—serve with some with cooked grains or rice.

Garlic & Lime Dressing

Great for a salad, and also for non-salad dishes, too! Use as a marinade, or grill, sauté, or roast veggies and drizzle with this vinaigrette. Toss some with cooked grains or rice, too. Makes a tasty dip for fries as well!

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream [coconut-milk free]

Canned coconut milk is our favorite base for making dairy-free ice cream due to its full texture and neutral vanilla flavor. This recipe is our creamy coconut-free base for anyone looking for an alternative. It contains more ingredients to create a similar rich, smooth, and crave-worthy texture. It has more caramel notes and is darker […]
