Who teaches Good Food Cooking Basics?

The Good Food Cooking Basics course is led by Heather Crosby, founder of YumUniversity (Good Food Cooking School & Gluten-Free Baking Academy) and author of the books YumUniverse and YumUniverse Pantry to Plate.

Her work has been featured by Oprah.com, O, Oprah Magazine, Reader’s Digest, HGTV, NPR, and HuffPost, among others.

She’s dedicated to developing courses that change lives through cooking and baking. Whether you’re looking to improve your health or know-how about cooking, her schools help you build the skills and confidence to get cooking and baking the way you’ve always wanted to. Her focus is on sharing the possibilities for plant-based, gluten-free recipes for all eaters, whether you love burgers or broccoli.

Good Food Cooking Basics also features recipes and instruction from authors, podcast hosts, and Good Food Master Cooks: Phoebe Lapine, Jessica Murnane, Serena Wolf, and Liz Moody.

This course is a judgment-free zone. We teach you how to cook more plant-based meals, not because they’re trendy, but because they’re versatile, delicious, and they make cooking and eating more fun for all.

We don’t use labels like “vegan” or “keto” around here because we aren’t interested in being the food police. We’d rather spend our time cooking good food and sharing it.

We’ll help you make food so good, you don’t need to “label” it.

Our healthier recipes help you make meals you love. We share tips to easily customize them to fit the diet that’s working for you today (and tomorrow).

When you’re making a meal for yourself or a pack of picky eaters, we’ll arm you with the tools, confidence, and skills to feel confident making a meal that everyone will love.

Good Food Cooking Basics is designed to change lives—let’s get cooking.
